"Castle" Season 7 could be one of the most momentous events in crime drama television, as the upcoming installment will provide a glimpse of what would life be without Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion).
In a promotional teaser of the first episode titled "Driven", Beckett is seen wearing her wedding dress. As Castle goes on his way to the wedding in a black SUV, he ended up on a drastic accident. Beckett is later seen visiting the wreckage, checking for signs about her fiance. Beckett observed that there is no signs of a body in the car, and declared, "He's not in the car!"
In an exclusive scoop of "Ask Ausiello" on TV Line, the site hinted that Beckett would be on an emotional rollercoaster after being left in despair about Castle's well-being, given the fact that she watched his car burn into ashes. Jon Huertas, who plays Esposito, was quoted as saying, "It's hard to control a person when they're going through that sort of emotive state, so we let Beckett have her time. First and foremost, though, you want to make sure Castle either is or is not in the car - and we find out pretty quickly, as you can tell in the promo."
The site revealed another spoiler, which read, "Episode 7 will apparently saddle up Kate, Rick et al for a trip to the wild, wild west - or at least a modern-day dude ranch facsimile thereof. Thus, guest casting is underway for a sheriff and his wife, a rugged ranch hand, a "muscular, sexy gay cowboy" and other rootin'-tootin' folk.""
