American crime drama television series, "Castle," is on its seventh installment. As Season 6 ended, many fans have been wanting for more spoilers ahead of Season 7. It could be recalled that a cliffhanger made fans' hearts skip a beat for their favorite novelist/detective.
It is expected that Season 7 would be tough for Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic), fiancée of Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion), as she engages in tracking Castle following his accident. Based on the show's promo teaser, the first episodes would take off where the sixth season finale ended, which is at the crash site. Tragedy, evidently, would create a flood of emotions, especially for Beckett, who is said to be taking over the investigation surrounding Castle's car crash. International Business Times, meanwhile, revealed that the guest stars who would be appearing on the first episode are Maya Stojan ("Elwood"), Ryan Sands ("The Wire," "Grimm"), Don Stark ("That 70s Show"), Matt Letscher ("The Carrie Diaries," "Her," "The Mask of Zorro") and Jon Lindstrom ("General Hospital").
Meanwhile, Jon Huertas, who plays Javi Esposito in the show, discloses to TV Line that the series's first episodes would revolve on a drastic drama scene concerning Rick's "death". However, he said that it would not be all drama in the show, at least in the sixth episode. He added, "The first couple [of episodes] can't bring too much comedy. But this 'alternate universe' is classic Castle, where you mix a great procedural crime with comedy."
The actor also shared his experience in filming the sixth episode without revealing details. He said, "It was a lot of fun, getting into that script and seeing how we might all be a bit different. It's a really fun episode, and people are really going to enjoy it. It's one of those episodes where you have to laugh."
"Castle" Season 7 premieres on Monday, September 29 at 10 p.m. EST only on ABC.
