'Minecraft' 1.8 Upgrade XBox 360: Mojang game enhances appearance, blocks and bugs; New achievement added

The sandbox indie game -- Minecraft -- is now already updatable on its newest 1.8 features after they released it on Tuesday, September 2.

Its head developer and creator, Mojang, a Swedish video game developer owned by Markus Persson, has released a list of the PC and mobile game's newest components with abundant of changes on their official website.

The list composes of the additional granite, andesite and diorite stone blocks, in which according to the main site, has smoother versions than the previous appearance. Other additional game objects include, slim blocks, the Ocean Monument, Red Sandstone, banners, armor stands, iron trapdoors, prismarine and sea lantern blocks, guardian mobs and rabbits (that drops items after dying) and muttons.

Moreover, rebalancing on villager tradings and repairing of anvils were also stated. Mojang added log Admin Commands, show Death Messages, send Command Feedback, game rules, and reduced Debug Info -- so, fans would experience lesser lag and loading efficiencies.

Village and temple generation were also updated simultaenous with the change on mob heads, which can now show both skin layers. Furthermore, the character's resource packs may be adjustable on its shapes and items, an improvement from the previous, where the player may only change its textures. Mossy cobblestones, chiseled stone bricks and stone bricks may now be craftable.

Meanwhile, concerning the game's achievements, Mojang added a new unnamed achievement; as well as an adjustable world barrier.

Minecraft has been known for it's simple adventure game, mostly attributed to other sandbox games by Kongregate and Armor Games, however, it has been prominent since it was first released on May 17, 2009 in Windows PC consoles.

After the success on Microsoft, on a press conference last year, the Xbox One edition of the game's trailer was unveiled, and was continued by Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3 version, which was released on December 17 last year.
