'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: A New Villain, Missing Characters, Rekindled Flame, and a Character Cross-Over?

By

The hit CW TV show is back for another season that will make fans clamoring for more and a show executive producer has revealed that there will definitely be a good chance that many fans will be very excited with what will happen next to Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev).

Revelations have been confirmed in an article on International Business Times that speaks of a new villain who will be appearing during the third episode of Season 6 - it will be easy to spot who it will be as the new character is named Kai.

Aside from introducing the fans to a new "The Vampire Diaries" villain, the new season is also seeking to answer the question of the whereabouts of Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) who seem to have gone elsewhere during the Season 5 finale.

The Epoch Times reported that in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "The Vampire Diaries" executive producer Caroline Dries says, "Where did they go? That mystery is addressed in the first episode in an unexpected way, though the aftermath of their disappearance is felt throughout," leaning to the scenario of the two characters making an impact where they had lef

In other news it seems that Season 6 will also see a rekindled relationship between Elena and Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) as is seen on a report from Michael Ausiello at TV Line. It seems clear and without suspect that the Stefan-Elena love story or otherwise known as "Stelena" to fans, will be reunited, as Elena is set to be locking lips with a good looking guy by episode 3.

And in addition, Elena or Nina Dobrev is also speculated to be crossing over to "The Originals" as in an interview she was quoted to saying, "I'm always going to be in a love triangle. I can't escape it, so I might as well just accept it," when asked about scenes from the show.
