By

Sad news has come out to many Girls' Generation fans this week as one of its members, Jessica Jung, exited the group. According to KPop Starz, the remaining members of the girl group appeared in Shenzhen, China for a fan meeting last Tuesday. The following day, the remaining members made an appearance at a Seoul department store, and shared their thoughts on Jessica suddenly leaving the group.

It is said that in a video footage that was taken by a fan during the Girls' Generation First Fan Party event, it was very evident that one of the members Seohyun was crying when they performed their song "Complete". The shocking news was first revealed when Jessica posted a message on her Weibo account page as the speculations about her leaving the group was already widespread.

A news piece from Hollywood Take quoted the statement that says, "I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today I am no longer a member. I'm devastated-my priority and love is to serve as a member of GG, but for no justifiable reason, I am being forced out."

With Jessica's exit, many Girls' Generation fans garnered the first initial reactions of disbelief with many thinking that the news may even be a hoax as everyone was surprised and Jessica herself suffered the same shock on a personal level. Reports from Pop Dust discussed speculations surrounding the fact that the company was the one who decided to remove Jessica from the group.

The 25-year-old Jung was accused of not putting enough of her efforts to be part of Girls' Generation most especially since she had a side career in fashion designing and was also currently in a relationship.
