The current production of "Hannibal" Season 3 has now started. And as seen on series creator Bryan Fuller's twitter account, he laid out the photo of the show premiere entitled "Antipasto" with the tweetpic caption that says, "FIRST DAY BACK IN #HANNIBAL SEASON 3 PRODUCTION OFFICES".
News from Fashion & Style notes that Season 3 of "Hannibal" is scheduled to debut either on April or May of 2015 and the set-up is speculated to occur around eight months from the time that the Season 2 finale episode happened.
Rumors also surround the fact that during Season 3, a lot of Dr. Lecter's (Mads Mikkelsen) past will be revealed as he and his former psychiatrist, Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) are seen to be in Italy. And during this time, the duo will be encountering Lady Murasaki, Lecter's aunt/special someone, who will be in to reveal some of Hannibal's past experiences and stories.
News from Enstarz notes Fuller saying, "We are absolutely delving into his history... Not as many flashbacks as much as it is finding present day survivors from that era of his life and understanding, with greater detail, about Hannibal and his modes of human interaction."
The new season also sees that Lecter and du Maurier are still on the run from Graham (Hugh Dancy) as they travel through Europe. And Fuller believes that fans are meant to be brought to the edge of their seats as the episodes progress as a lot of the blood and gore will definitely leave them more shocked with Hannibal's serial killer instincts.
The Christian Times even quotes Fuller as he discussed the possibility of David Tennant working on the show, "I'm a huge fan of David Tennant, and we've been trying to get him on the show for quite some time," as many know Tennant auditioned for the role of Lecter.
