Harsh criticism against G-Dragon came from a lot of people who got to see his Instagram post that many assumed to be related to a popular and highly dangerous party drug. According to All KPop, the photo that many are questioning was one that had the word "Molly" written inside a heart, with what seemed to look like white powdery substance.
The term "Molly" apparently is the current party drug that has been circulating and contains ingredients that are similar to Ecstasy, which leaves a lot to say as to what G-Dragon really meant about his Instagram post. This recent controversy has been just one of G-Dragon's latest dealings with many critics online, and because of this mentioned photo, he had to take it down from his account as the speculations pointed to a lot of angery Internet users who were able to view the image.
News from Korea Boo even mentioned that some media took to the photo and some reported from it, saying, "G-Dragon, does he still do drugs?" And to this a lot of comments added more fuel to the fire, many even mentioning how irresponsible G-Dragon could be by posting a photo like this and not know the consequences for his actions.
Again, social media has taken things to a whole new level and unfortunately it was G-Dragon who was at the receiving end of a lot of rants and banter of people who found his actions juvenile. A report from KPopStarz notes that in South Korea drugs are highly prohibited and this recent chaos that G-Dragon has caused in social media is not unlikely.
This type of publicity isn't good for the 26-year-old rapper and member of the South Korean group, Big Bang, since this is not the first time that he had dealt with drugs. Back in 2011, G-Dragon had to seize promoting his group's music as he was tested and came out positive for marijuana.
