"7th Heaven" star Stephen Collins’ Issue on Child Molestation: Beloved TV Reverend Accusation surfaces from secret audio recording by estranged wife Faye Grant during therapy

The upsetting news that "7th Heaven" star Stephen Collins has been accused of molesting a young girl has taken things to a whole new level and has promptly been the cause for 2 cable networks, UP TV and TV Guide, to stop the reruns of the beloved show that also stars other popular celebrities like Jessica Biel and Barry Watson.

Upon confirmation from New York police, they have opened an investigation that puts Collins in hot water for an incident that has reportedly happened between the actor and a teenage girl in the 1970's, this is according to CBC News.

Apparently the incident involving the beloved Rev. Eric Camden (Collins) resurfaced because of a recording from couple's therapy, in which he allegedly confessed to exposing himself to young girls and admitted that he molested one of the girls. Unfortunately because of these current news that has been circulating, it is not just reruns of his previous work that has been put to a halt.

News from Boston Globe speculates that a project that Collins is supposed to be working on, a production for American Repertory Theater's "Obsessive Political Correctness", has also been put to a screeching pause because of the current incident the actor has been involved in.

The mentioned audio recording is said to have been recorded secretly by Collins' estranged wife Faye Grant during one of their couple's therapy sessions. Huffpost shares information that the police are in possession of the alleged tape and is investigating the 67 year old actor with charges for "inappropriate contact with minors".

Police revealed that there are apparently 3 victims to this incident, one of which is a relative of Collins' first wife Marjorie Weinman. The actor was also quoted to saying, "There was one moment of touching where her hand, I put her hand on my penis," in a portion of the audio tape.
