MBLAQ's members Lee Joon and Thunder are reportedly planning to leave their group after their upcoming concert in November.
On October 13, Allkpop reported that Lee Joon will not be renewing his contract with their agency J.Tune Camp as part of the idol group. Shortly after the news broke, it was also reported that Thunder (Cheondoong) also allegedly did not want to renew his contract, as well.
J.Tune Camp also released an official statement stating they are in the process of studying the situation and they will make further announcement once decisions are finalized.
According to the agency, Lee Joon will still take part in MBLAQ's upcoming concert in November. "We are taking into consideration the other members and agency's wishes and thoughts before coming to an official conclusion. The agency will work hard to make the best decision for MBLAQ," said the agency through their statement.
Fellow MBLAQ member G.O, meanwhile, took to Twitter in an alleged attempt to express his side on the matter. G.O tweeted, "At the end, consideration is what lasts over the burden of selfishness." It was followed by another post that reads, "The people who know, know everything. Trust in what you see right now, as time passes it will all be found out."
In a phone interview with Allkpop, J.Tune Camp responded about their artist's tweet, saying the post only expressed G.O's frustration and disappointment.
The agency also denied allegations that an internal dispute is the cause of Lee Joon and Thunder's decision not to renew. "If there truly was a dispute, as rumored, it would be hard for the members to go through November's concerts," said J.Tune Camp.
Meanwhile, fans remain optimistic and are urging A+, the official fanbase of the group, to continue supporting MBLAQ in their upcoming concert, KpopStarz reports.
"Despite of all these rumors coming out, we, A+ should stay strong and positive. We better just wait for their official statement," said MBLAQ Philippines, the country's official fan club on Facebook page.
MBLAQ's Curtain Call concerts are scheduled on November 28 and 29 in Seoul.
