Park Bom of the Korean Pop group, 2NE1, had a wardrobe malfunction while performing on stage at YG Family's concert in Beijing. YG Entertainment responds to 2NE1 breakup rumors in a statement.
Park Bom and the rest of 2NE1 were performing on stage last October 19 for the "YG Family Galaxy Tour: Power In Beijing" show. Bom tried to do a daring and athletic move by doing a cartwheel or tumbling maneuver and that's when she slipped and revealed her undergarments to the crowd.
Luckily, 2NE1's Dara was quick on her feet and covered Bom in a cute and funny manner by holding her arms out. The moment drew laughs from fans meanwhile Big Bang and Psy tried to shift the focus of the crowd and announcing the next act.
The moment was captured by a fan in the crowd and posted on Youtube the next day.
The "YG Family Galaxy Tour: Power in Beijing" event also included other well-known performers including WINNER, Epik High, Big Bang, 2NE1, Psy, and YG Entertainment's trainee group "Team B". The YG Family show will continue their tour on Taoyuan County Stadium in Taiwan this coming October 25, 2014.
In related news, YG entertainment has given a statement concerning the rumors of 2NE1 breaking up with recent events transpiring such as CL's U.S. debut and Minzy taking out the 21 and 2NE1 tag on her instagram and twitter profile respectively.
The statement reads:
"We are aware that Minzy's SNS account has been receiving attention since yesterday. Minzy personally manages her own Instagram. It is absurd that there are rumors that we are in talks concerning 2NE1's breakup due to what happened on her personal SNS account. The account has been changed back."
"There are no issues with 2NE1's activities. They are currently staying in Macau due to their previously arranged group activities. They will make a good album and come back as 2NE1."
The YG entertainment also had this to say about Park Bom's time out from performing other events:
"Following the YG Family concert in Seoul in August, she is carrying out the concerts overseas as they were scheduled beforehand. 2NE1 cannot put on a stage without member Park Bom... However besides that, Park Bom is not participating in any other domestic schedules. She is currently taking time to self-reflect. Please support them until they make make their comeback."
