"Chrisley Knows Best" returns for its second season with good ratings and with a feud within the family as Kyle accuses Todd of shutting him out of his child's life. Kyle's absence is explained away as him dealing with substance abuse, not because Todd wanted him out.

According to Radio & TV Talk, Kyle's absence when season two premiered last week raised questions, and in the third episode aired on Tuesday, Todd explained that Kyle has been dealing with drugs and alcohol problems. As a consequence, Chloe, Kyle's daughter, has been staying with the Chrisleys.

Unfortunately for the family, though Kyle was absent from the show, it didn't stop him from having an interview with Daily Mail where he allegedly called Todd "manipulative," "vindictive," and a "snake." Furthermore, Kyle added that Todd has ruined him along with his other kids. Kyle also said through Daily Mail that he has been shut out of Chloe's life and is currently fighting for custody. Kyle additionally maintains being clean and sober for six months while living with wife Lexi in Chamblee.

Also in the interview, Kyle dished about Todd micromanaging the set, leading the cast to "re-do a scene if he isn't happy with what was said," adds Radio & TV Talk.

Prior to Kyle's interview, E! Online has reported Todd saying that his son is bipolar, and that this has been the reason for Kyle's self-medication. After hearing of the interview, Todd directly said that article is "not telling the truth." Kyle's father also revealed that the editor of the piece wanted to run Kyle's story despite the Chrisley's publicist reaching out to straighten the misinformation. "It will be great for your ratings," Todd shares the editor's response.

Despite Kyle's allegations of Todd "micromanaging" the show, Todd maintains that Kyle wasn't kicked out because of him. Instead, Todd clarifies that Kyle was hostile to the crew and that he was not taking his medications. Todd has allegedly been unable to locate Kyle since seven months ago.

Only last October 24, People published an article with Chrisley saying that "the family is all good" and "very blessed" despite Kyle being arrested in May for an altercation with Chloe's mother. Todd also claimed: "As a family, we all continue to lift him up."
