After speculations that Renee Zellweger has undergone plastic surgery because of her barely recognizable face, the female actor doesn't seem to be hiding from the cameras on location for a movie in Mississippi.
Zellweger first sparked rumors that she had undergone plastic surgery after appearing at Elle Magazine's Women in Hollywood party, NY Daily News reports. Over the weekend the actress has been spotted stepping out in Mississippi, on location for the production of her film, "Same Kind of Different as Me."
The issue seems one that the actor isn't too concerned about, and she didn't keep mum about it either. As NY Daily News says, "Zellweger quickly spoke about the incessant chatter sparked by her unrecognizable face calling it 'silly.'" Zellweger also added that she's "living a different, happy, more fulfilling life" and expressed gladness that "perhaps it shows, she told People.
Zellweger attributed the change to her currently living a peaceful and healthy lifestyle, one that is far from her "not realistically sustainable" schedule in the past.
However, Hollywood Take has a different interpretation of Zellweger's transformation. According to the article, fans are wondering if the actor has had plastic surgery in the eye area. Some are also saying that she has had "the extra skin around her eyes removed."
Her transformation is not just because of makeup either. Daily Mail shares that Zellweger was seen without makeup over the weekend as she ran errands, with the actor even described as looking tired and anxious, but it seemed apparent that her red carpet look wasn't just because of products. Whatever changes she might have adapted to achieve her new look, the article thinks that it's for her career. Citing Us Weekly magazine as source, Hollywood Take recalls, "Despite an Oscar nomination for her role in 'Chicago' and a win for 'Cold Mountain,' she has not starred in any major films since 2008's "Leatherheads.'"
Before "Same Kind of Different as Me," NY Daily News says that Zellweger's recent project was "The Whole Truth" with Keanu Reeves.
