"Revenge" season 4 episode 6, "Damages," had David Clarke falsely accusing Nolan Ross on a live interview, while episode 7 entitled "Ambush" will be all about confrontations. The reunion of father/daughter Clarke and Emily Thorne will happen, but not as Thorne had expected it.
Fans have been treated to something different in "Revenge" season 4 as the episode "Damages" has Clarke (James Tupper) being interviewed. It is no ordinary interview, says Christian Post, as it is "one of the most controversial interviews about him disappearing and coming back."
Questions about his disappearance and frame up were raised, relays Christian Post. The interview started good enough, shares Fashion & Style, but things changed when Clarke invited an "uncomfortable and agitated" Nolan Ross (Gabriel Mann) to join him in a public reunion. "After explaining that he invested in Nolan's company in order to financially care for his daughter, David accuses Nolan of never giving the millions to Amanda," the article states.
Clarke also said on the live interview that he "will never forgive" Ross. Things don't stop going downhill for them, as Ross and Clarke has a confrontation later on at Ross's house. Ross also turns to the newly-arrived Thorne to say, "Your lie finally caught up to me."
Another addition to the live interview is Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe), which appeared "stone-faced" and "a little bit nervous." Grayson and Thorne are vying for Clarke's loyalty, and in a ploy to get Clarke to her side, Grayson is seen sitting beside him on the couch and whispering, "No matter what happens, I will always be on your side."
The next episode airing on November 9 entitled "Ambush" will finally feature Clarke and Thorne's reunion, as shown in a preview. According to IB Times, there will be no "heartfelt father/daughter reunion" to be expected, as Clarke confronts Thorne about "tearing his family apart." Even before Clarke met Throne, Grayson has already given him an idea of who Thorne was. IB Times shares, "When David first appeared to Victoria, the Grayson matriarch used the upper hand to turn her lover against a woman named Emily Throne-an alleged deviant who has been terrorizing her family over the years."
A confrontation between Daniel Grayson and Thorne will also be seen, adds Celeb Dirty Laundry. Furthermore, according to the site, "Charlotte's downward spiral takes her to a place where even Emily worries she can't be saved."
