The Sacramento Kings will head to Dallas to face Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavericks Tuesday night, November 11, 2014. The match up between the two Western Conference teams will tip off at 7:30 P.M Eastern Time, American Airlines Center, Dallas. The game can be watched live on TV at FSSW and broadcasted on Radio at ESPN/103.3 FM, ESPN/1540 AM (Spanish). You can also view the game live online via free streaming here.
For the Kings, winning a game in Dallas has been as difficult as entering the playoffs in the Western Conference. The last time the team won a regular season game in the Mavs home court, Chris Webber and Vlade Divac were still playing basketball for the Kings. Sacramento, however, has a chance to change history, heading into the game with a surprising 5-2 strong start early in the season, and end the NBA's second-longest active road losing streak in a series when they face the Mavericks.
The team, however, was not able to maintain their five game winning streak after losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 101-93, in Sunday. They trailed 56-39 in the third quarter.
"We dug ourselves a hole, man," said forward Rudy Gay, whose team lost for the first time in four road games as it made its second stop on a four-game trip per ESPN's Game Preview. "It's a good learning experience for us -- no matter who we're playing, we can't come out playing like that."
Tuesday's matchup may also be a historic night for the Dallas Mavericks.Their long time Super Star Dirk Nowitzki is 17 points shy of passing Hakeem Olajuwon and becoming the No. 9 all-time leading scorer in NBA history. The team, however, has struggled in their last three games losing two of three, including Sunday's match against Miami where they got out-hustled by the heat at their own home in a 105-96 loss.
"I'm concerned about how we're competing as a team," coach Rick Carlisle told the Mavs' official website. "We just have a problem right now from top to bottom with consistency. When our level of competitiveness comes up to where it should be on a consistent basis, a lot of our problems will dissipate."
Chandler Parsons continues his shooting slump but Jae Crowder has become a bright spot for the team. Crowder played the last 12:05 of Sunday's game and finished with 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting.
Dallas is the favorite in this match up, laying -7.0 points here at home. The Total has been posted at Over/Under 205.0 per Pro Cappers.
