"Mob Wives" Season 5 Begins on December 3, Karen Gravano Is Returning, and She's Furious

By

The fifth season of "Mob Wives" is nearly here- TVbytheNumbers reports that the first new episodes of the VH1 series will premiere on Wednesday, December 3.

That's less than a month! Before we know it, we'll be up to our classy 1920s suspenders in mob intrigue (well, mob wife intrigue, anyway).

Last season, "Mob Wives" became "Mob Wives: New Blood" with the additions of two new Mob Wives- Alicia DiMichele Garofalo and Natalie Guerico. And now, in the fifth season, VH1 is bringing more new blood to the series.

Well, sort of. Fashion & Style reports that Karen Gravano, who left the series last year, will be returning in a big way for the fifth season.

Is it too late to call the new season "Old Blood?"

As well, RealityTea has the full synopsis of the new season, courtesy of VH1:

"Last season, lifelong friendships were put to the test as 'New Blood' infiltrated this tight-knit circle, and these relationships remain as complicated and volatile as ever," says the synopsis.

"Ever-shifting alliances are a recipe for an explosive mix of unpredictable tension, conflict, and intrigue. This season, emotions run high and Staten Island is rife with gossip, lies, and misunderstandings. In this world, you never know what is around the corner - or when an old family connection may resurface to shake everything up."

According to Fashion & Style, a big chunk of the season will involve Gravano trying to get to uncover the truth about all the rumors the other wives were spreading about her last season. With Gravano on the warpath (also, Drita D'Avanzo's husband, Lee, has been released from jail), things are bound to get intense in season five.

Check back soon for the latest news on the newest season of "Mob Wives." And try not to get yourself whacked, if possible.
