YG Entertainment has released the official teaser of G-Dragon and Taeyang's upcoming single "Good Boy." The short clip was previously shared by the idols through their respective Instagram accounts before the record label uploaded it on Big Bang's official YouTube page.
The collaboration known as GD X Taeyang is part of YG Entertainment's couple of hip hop projects.
In the short teaser, which runs barely over 15 seconds, G-Dragon and Taeyang can be seen getting off a car. The clip also showed the two artists' signature logos combined - Taeyang's sunrays and GD's modified peace sign.
Allkpop noted that a lot of Big Bang fans are looking forward to the upcoming sub-unit especially because they have been waiting for the group's comeback.
Before the release of the video teaser, they have also released a second teaser image. In the photo, the two Big Bang members can be seen raising their hands, as starting to dance along with female back-up dancers.
The new "Good Boy" teaser image also revealed that that the song was written and arranged by G-Dragon himself, while he also composed it along with Fliptones and Freedo. Fliptones, who was known to have worked with Britney Spears, have also worked with the idol, particularly in composing "Stay With Me" for Taeyang's second full-length album.
The photo came hours after the first teaser was revealed. In the first photo, the duo were both wearing shirts printed with "Good Boy" in bold letters. The two were standing in front of what it seems to be a car flashing light.
The two singers are known to be very good friends as both of them entered YG and started training at a young age. They debuted as part of five-member Big Bang on August 2006 together with TOP, Daesung, and Seungri.
The highly anticipated collaboration single of G-Dragon and Taeyang will be released at midnight of November 21.
