After Jessica Jung was kicked out from Girls Generation, the remaining eight members of the titan girl group have received more attention from fans and media.
Recently it was reported that the girl group will be celebrating their seventh anniversary by throwing a concert in China. Chinese media outlets reported on November 9 that the concert will be held in Guangzhou on January 4, 2015.
Girls' Generation's record label SM Entertainment said that the show will be the idol group's first large-scale performance in mainland China. A rep from the agency added that aside from performing their hit songs, the girls will also spend time with their fans.
In other news, the group's leader Taeyeon made news earlier this month after unfollowing a lot of people on her Instagram account including her boyfriend, Baekhyun of EXO.
On November 18, Baekhyun did the same, unfollowing everyone on his account including Taeyeon. This has left fans speculating that the two might be having problems with their relationship.
Meanwhile, fans speculated that Sunny left a secret message to Jessica on one of the Nov 20 broadcast of her radio show MBC FM4U's "Sunny's FM Date." The Girls' Generation member played Roy Kim's "Home."
After saying that it was a song she wants someone she knows to listen to, she said, "I don't think you're listening, but I hope you know that if you're tired or alone, you can always come back home. It's just something I wanted to say to a friend."
Moreover, former member Jessica is reportedly making her first public appearance in Korea after her controversial ouster from Girls Generation. According to Soompi, she will be attending the open party for luxury fashion brand Fendi's store in Jamsil Lotte mall.
The former idol, who is now a fashion designer for her own brand BLANC & ECLARE, is expected to catch attention from fans and media.
