Word is going around that Justin Bieber might be trying to catch Selena Gomez' attention. However, Gomez is apparently not falling for any of it unless Bieber gets serious and pops the big question. Instead of being with Bieber after an emotional performance of a song dedicated to him at the AMAs, Gomez found comfort in her female friends.
Justin Bieber may be missing Selena Gomez, but Gomez may not be feeling the same way.
According to Hollywood Life, Bieber posted a photo on Shots about eating alone on a hibachi restaurant, saying that it "isn't as fun." The website theorizes that the photo and Bieber's "pouty selfie" are aimed at Gomez, giving the hint that the singer is missing his ex-girlfriend. However, Hollywood Life talks of an exclusive source saying that Gomez will not be easily swayed by such tricks.
"Selena has gained her 'confidence' back and she's not about to fall for any of Justin's old tricks this time," Hollywood Life says. Furthermore, the website says that it will take Bieber doing something extreme to get Gomez back. An insider apparently told the website, "She doesn't have any faith in him keeping his word to her. He would have to get on one knee and propose. It would have to be that extreme."
Recently, Gomez performed at the American Music Awards where she sang "The Heart Wants What It Wants," a song that had been confirmed to be about her relationship with Bieber. However, Inquisitr says that her "emotional" performance of the song was not the female singer's way of exploiting the relationship.
Inquisitr's source says that instead of being angry about Gomez' performance, "Justin expects Selena to promote her music just as he promotes his own." Bieber was not at the AMAs where Gomez performed, as he was attending the Hillsong Church in New York. Even before the event, Bieber's absence from the AMAs has been confirmed by two sources from Inquisitr, falsifying earlier claims that Bieber was going to surprise Gomez.
After Gomez' performance, Christian Post reports that she was surrounded by female friends including Taylor Swift, Karlie Kloss, and Lorde, as evidenced by an Instagram post. Gomez captioned the photo saying, "Not a better way to end my night. Surrounded by SO much love."
