Former EXO member Kris Wu, who is now professionally known as Wu Yifan, will enter into a second round of mediation with record label SM Entertainment on December 5.

Yifan left the group in May after filing a lawsuit that aims to terminate his contract with SM Entertainment. The Chinese-Canadian singer's representation claimed that the record label violated Kris' basic civil rights and neglected his future goals as an artist, along with other claims, which according to Koreaboo, included unfair income distribution and inappropriate bias towards the group's Korean subgroup.

According to Soompi, the Seoul Central District Court proposed on June 9 that the lawsuit be forwarded to arbitration for both parties to come up with an agreement before the suit enters into the court. On July 8, the first arbitration meeting was held were both sides were not able to reach a compromise.

Legal representatives of both parties refused to comment on the situation.

If the parties will not reach an agreement this time, Kris' case will proceed to a trial as a standard civil lawsuit.

In other news, Wu Yifan will have his own life-size wax figure to be displayed at the famous wax museum, Madame Tussauds in Shanghai. Chinese media outlets reported that the former EXO member will be the first among Chinese celebrities born after 1990 to have a wax figure at the Shanghai museum. At 24, he will be the youngest star to be featured in the wax museum, as noted by Koreaboo.

On December 1, Kris reportedly visited the museum to have his body measurements taken prior to the actual construction of his wax figure, which would take about 8-12 weeks. The crew, who will be making the wax model, flew to China from the UK and took two hours to complete Kris' measurements.

According to the report, Yifan's life-size sculptured figure is scheduled to be made in mid-2015 in London. The singer-actor's figure is expected to be displayed in Madame Tussauds in Shanghai around the middle of 2015.
