It was a glamourous night for Emma Watson. The 24-year old actress of 'Harry Potter' fame was presented with the much coveted British Style Award during the 2014 British Fashion Awards by One Direction member, Harry Styles.
The internet went crazy when the dapper young star congratulated Watson with a hug and a kiss onstage. This fueled rumors that the One Direction Member was now "offically off the market". Teenage fans then took to Twitter, calling the new celebrity noncouple, "Hemma".
One Twitter user said: 'if elegancy and class had a specific visual image it would be that picture of emma watson and harry styles'. Yet another Twitter user said that "Emma Watson and Harry Styles made her December."
Watson, who looked svelte and chic in a backless white Mischa jumpsuit was all smiles when presented the award. "Harry Styles just said the words, 'He for She,' so that's really cool," she gushed. The young actress was reported to have a crush on the One Direction pin-up, and the two have even been reported to have flirtatious tweets on Twitter, according to a report from PerezHilton.com. The source also reports that Styles has also admitted to having a sort of crush on the Harry Potter millionaress.
It seems highly unlikely that the two celebrities will pair up since Styles has been linked to hooking up once again with his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift. On the other hand, Watson is currently happily dating Oxford university student, Matthew Janney, 22 since January of this year.
Despite these setbacks, it is evident that most of the One Direction fans want the two stars to pair up, and it is quickly becoming their "favorite pairing". Emma Watson and Harry Styles have yet to speak to their fans regarding this issue, but the trending topic seems to be gaining quite the fanbase online and won't die anytime soon.
