"Dragon Ball Z" has been going strong for many, many (many) years- and it's not stopping anytime soon. The latest film, titled "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F " is set to open on April 18, 2015.
There's not much we know about "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F." All the info we have so far can be pieced together from quotes dropped by those working on the film. KpopStarz, for example, reports that Akira Toriyama, who created the original manga, is also creating the original story for "Fukkatsu no F," and he's calling the new story "utterly funny." And also "super-duper interesting."
Here's what we know about the actual story. Goku, it seems, is interested in fighting someone even stronger than himself, and wishes for someone to help him train. But obviously, wishes go horribly wrong, and his wish ends up bringing about an evil Goku. According to KpopStarz, Goku will "resort to using an upgraded form of the Super Saiyan God form aka Super Saiyan God 2 to beat the Evil Goku."
AnimeNewsNetwork also adds that Frieza will return to the film, along with Beerus, the villain from the last "Dragon Ball Z" movie, "Battle of Gods." This was revealed via a new poster for the film, which has Frieza, covered in fire, right in the center. Presumably, that's bad news for just about everyone.
The film will premiere in both 2D and 3D.
And while everyone's currently awaiting more news about "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F," Franchise Herald claims that a new trailer will premiere sometime before the end of the year. That's not long- just a few short weeks from now- so if there is another trailer on the way, it's probably coming quite soon.
Check back soon for the latest news on "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F."
