'Are You The One' Season 2 Cast News: Season Finale Ends Revealing of Perfect Matches and Not so Perfect; Pairs face social media bullying from fans upset by their choices

While it has been a rather controversial season for MTV's dating reality show, 'Are you the one?', the reality show drew to a close on Monday night, December 8. It was a rather long and trying road for the reality stars of the dating show, filled with jealousy, tantrums, screaming matches, and many stupid decisions.

The final episode kicked off with a challenge involving the men building a raft and saving the ladies. Dario managed to make it first to the women only after Layton's paddle broke. He chose Ashley as his partner. The cast members were then treated to a group date and a trip to the Truth Booth. The group of singles decided to send Dario and Ashley to the Truth Booth, and it was found out that the two were a perfect match.

Throughout the season. Layton seemed to be notorious in making bad decisions in choosing who his match is. He then pulled a foolish move during the matching ceremony. Now, the group of singles knew they had to do two things: Switch two couples to ensure they would get a perfect 10 instead of the eight out of 10 correct matches. They also decided to make sure that the 11th house member, Christina was not picked by anyone. According to insiders, Christina was the "curveball" and she agreed with the other cast members that in order for everyone to win the million dollars, she had to be not picked.

Layton then decided to drop Tyler and choose Christina during the ceremony. This was a rather shocking move and has earned the ire of social media following.

However, Layton ended up making the right decision, and the cast members managed to win the million dollars. It was indeed a risky move on everyone's part. This proves that taking a gamble would guarantee success, especially in this ambitious dating game.
