Hit crime drama 'Longmire' fans expressed their frustrations with A&E's decision to cancel the program previously. All those who worked for the show, with the support of the disgruntled fans, sought another home for the series, believing that the show's end was untimely.
So 'Longmire' was finally given a chance to be aired after a streaming network, Netflix, for its fourth season, Ecumenical News reported. The show is about the widower, Sheriff Walt Longmire, who finds comfort in solving some of the most challenging crimes all around Absaroka Country. For now, very little is known about the fourth season and the tension continues to build up as to how it will be received by viewers after finding a new host. It has been quite a process for the show's production rights and Netflix shuts its mouth regarding how the story will unfold.
Fourth season will start shooting by March and a casting call for extras has been already been put up. It can then be assumed that the writers are already on the run for the script for the next season. The casting is said to be held in Santa Fe area where the locals are encouraged to participate. Some of them will be seen as townsfolk and those that are lucky might be given a longer exposure.Reports disclose that the fourth season will resume from where it was left off in the third season, Breathe Cast reported.
Meanwhile, 'Longmire' cast Lou Diamond Phillips and Robert Taylor have not failed to share their excitement over the renewal of the show and took on to Twitter the awesome news.
While Phillips tweeted, "The Saga continues! Very excited to see where S4 takes us with #LongmireOnNetflix Thanks @netflix We ride for the brand!" Taylor posted, "Awesome job posse, keep riding. Regards, Rob. #LongmireOnNetflex @LongmirePosse."
