When we last left the ABC hit series, Ingrid the Snow Queen's reign of terror was put to an abrupt end. Peace was restored to Arendelle, and all seems to be well in the quiet town of Storybrooke. One would think that the residents of Storybrooke would finally have their peaceful life now that the dreaded spell of Shattered Sight was stopped, but teaser videos from the ABC say otherwise.
In the previous episode, Ingrid (Elizabeth Mitchell) realized that the spell of Shattered Sight was only making things even more difficult for her, so she decided to end the curse. Unfortunately, this was done at the cost of her own life. In an emotional episode, the reign of the frozen heart came to an end, leaving the residents of Storybrooke to begin again.
According to a teaser trailer from the show's Facebook page, all will not be peaceful in Storybrooke as some devious villains will be paying them a visit. According to the Fashion & Style, evils will be ushering as they pursue their goals of becoming the 'victors'.
In previous seasons of OUAT, Ursula and Maleficent have unfinished business with Regina Mills (Lana Parrilla). It looks like the Evil Queen has some competition on her hands when it comes to the evil ladies category.
A synopsis from Spoiler TV says: "In the aftermath of the Snow Queen's spell, our heroes try to pick up the pieces and Regina has to make a difficult choice. Hook's fate hangs in the balance as Gold's quest for power threatens everything he holds dear. And, in the Enchanted Forest flashback, an intrusion during Belle's stay at Rumplestiltskin's dark castle will wreak havoc in both the past and the future."
When we last left Killian Jones (Collin O'donoghue) and Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle), Killian had failed to kidnap Henry (Jared Gilmore). Gold threatens Jones with his life saying "he can't even kidnap a teenage boy." Will Gold continue his evil ways?
The midseason finale of 'Once Upon A Time' is certainly an episode not to miss. Catch it on ABC on Sunday 8/7c
