The midseason finale for "The Vampire Diaries" is going to be aired this Thursday night and fans of the series this season 6 will be in for a big surprise.
Cartermatt reports that there's some good news and bad news for the fans of the hit vampire series. The bad news is there will be a major death scene in the upcoming episode as teased by Paul Wesley himself. The good news, not all dead characters are gone for good, sometimes they don't stay dead. Cartermatt addionally reported that, as of now, the only cast members that can be presumed to be safe from the chopping board are the three major characters which are Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev, and Ian Somerhalder.
Previously, Paul Wesley was the talk of the town after rumors circulated that he will be leaving the show to focus on bigger roles in theaters. While this has yet to be confirmed, the actor heralded a major tease when he said in E! News that there will be a heartbreaking death which will rock the world of the fans of The CW hit series. Wesley said that "Dude, there's always deaths, there is a big one coming up, I will say that, there is a big one that's really going to break the people's hearts,"
According to the International Business Times, the major death teased by Paul Wesley will possibly involve a character who is important to Caroline's life. It may be her mother, Sheriff Forbes whom she saved from Tripp's men during episode 7 of the show entitled "Do You Remember the First Time".
Paul Wesley also addressed the fans of Stefan-Caroline or "Steroline" couple to be patient since there will be an intimate moment between the two of them. Wesley further shared that "I do think ultimately that something will happen. It's just a slow burn,"
The mid-season finale episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is entitled "Christmas Through Your Eyes" and it is scheduled to be aired this Thursday night, Dec. at 8 p.m. ET on The CW TV Network.
