The ABC hit show "Castle" has aired its mid-season finale last Monday, December 8, 2014. It's the 10th episode of Season 7 and it was aptly entitled "Bad Santa".
Fans of the show were shocked with the conclusion of Castle's winter finale according to Cartermatt. Richard Castle, as played by Nathan Fillion, was dismissed from the team of Police Investigators considering that it may be dangerous for NYPD to include him for his association with the mob.
Castle will no longer be working with Kate Beckett in the return of the show next year. International Business Times reported that in "Bad Santa," Beckett and Castle were investigating a murder of an ER doctor. It turns out that the said doctor is a mob-doctor who is also related to Dino Scarpella, a mob-friend of Castle. Thus, Captain Gates is forced to "relieve" Castle of his duties in the 12th precinct of NYPD.
The separation of Castle and Beckett won't be for too long as the show's hilarity revolves around the relationship of the duo. Cartermatt reported that it may even add to the comedic twist and turns of the show if the two would be in a short term rivalry.
When ABC aired its Promo Clip for Episode 11 of Season 7 of "Castle," we can see that Castle has decided to become a real detective by enrolling himself in an online course. Hollywood Hills added that from the looks of the spoiler clip, he is determined to compete with Beckett's team to solve the case. Beckett also made a comment that Castle won't be able to solve the crime himself, it looks like she was really challenging the wits of Castle. Indeed, this will be an exciting episode for the avid fans of the hit series since it will be the first time to see Beckett and Castle go head to head.
"Castle's" 11th episode for Season 7 will be back on air in January 12, 2015 at 9pm central on ABC network. Stay tuned for more news on this story!
