On December 11, filming for "Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" wrapped up in New Mexico, CBS Sacramento reports. The highly-anticipated reboot had already filmed scenes in Michigan and Illinois. Although there have been several leaks about the movie, the film's storyline has yet to be confirmed by studio bosses, leading to many making speculations.
Moviepilot reported that one speculation circulating in gossip circles is that Commissioner Gordon will be dead in the movie. The site also said that Gordon will die in the battle of Metropolis presumably because of Superman's incompetence and that it would perfectly sum up Batman's (Ben Affleck) major beef with Superman (Henry Cavill). Moreover, Gordon's death is said to emphasize the entire theme of the movie. Also, a San Diego Comic-Con teaser clip showed Bruce Wayne as Batman lighting up the Bat-Signal. Fans of the Dark Knight know that Gordon's partnership with Batman involves him overseeing the lighting of the Bat-Signal in case or emergency.
On the other hand, Jeremy Irons, who plays Alfred in the film, revealed to Indiewire on how his version of Wayne's trusted butler is portrayed in the movie. He told the site, "Oh he'll be quite different. He has an interesting history. He's a very competent man. He's the sort of man I think anyone would like to be married to. He can sort of do everything: change light bulbs, blow up bridges if he has to."
For fans of the TV series "Gotham," Iron's Alfred is remarkably similar to his boob tube counterpart. Screenrant noted that the Alfred in the series is a "man of action," being that he was a Royal Marine in his former life.
"Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" will debut in theaters on March 25, 2016. The Zack Snyder film stas Cavill, Affleck, Irons, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Holly Hunter, Ray Fisher and potentially Jason Momoa of "Game of Thrones" fame.
