"Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland" is nearly here!

Filming on the movie version of the Spike TV series wrapped this week in North Carolina, as reported by Enstars.

Sadly, this doesn't give us much new information on the movie- the continuation of "Blue Mountain State," the Spike TV series that was cancelled all the way back in 2012, but revived via a Kickstarter for a feature film. The Kickstarter pulled in nearly two million dollars- an unbelievable amount and a rare feat for crowdfunding campaigns.

That was back in May. Since then, the cast of the Spike series, along with director Lev L. Spiro have been hard at work filming the movie- but they haven't yet told us what it'll be about. Besides, obviously, the same group of fratty, boozy, fun-loving football bros from the Spike series. We also know it'll be about their senior year at Blue Mountain State.

A number of cast members celebrated the end of filming on social media- and from that, we've been able to figure out just when the film might be releasing.

Says Darin Brooks (who plays Alex Moran): "That's a wrap @BMSTheMovie! SO MUCH FUN, the best cast & crew, such dedication & hard work, love you all! BLUE MOUNTAIN STATE COMIN IN 2015!"

Alan Ritchson, who plays Thad Castle, had this to say: "I never thought I'd live to see this day, but it's last day of filming #BMSTheRiseofThadland. After today, we start edit for a few months."

The film has long been rumored for a Spring 2015 release date, and these tweets basically confirm it- Brooks saying outright that the film will come in 2015, and Ritchson adding that the editing process will take a few months- which would take us right to the spring of next year.
