See the Marvel Vs DC Trailer that excite fans; Will a crossover happen soon? [Video]

Another superhero mash-up video has been released on YouTube, and had pretty much arose speculation among excited fans about the possibility of a DC/Marvel crossover in the near future.

The video was published by YouTube fan Alex Luthor, who was smart to introduce a world annihilation plotline that could either bring all superheroes together, or not, Hollywood Life reported. The video had superheroes battling against their counterparts, like the Hulk against Wonder Woman, Hawkeye versus Green Arrow, and Batman versus Iron Man, for example. And then we see Doctor Doom precipitating a world catastrophe courtesy of a glowing cube that awfully looks like the Tesseract from the "Thor" series.

Although the video was exciting indeed, the talk about a superhero crossover is a tale as old as comic book time. Even in the latest "Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham," the makers had teased the silhouettes of Black Widow, Spider-Man, Captain America, The Hulk , Thor, Iron Man and Hawkeye, only to reveal the characters behind them as Black Canary, Nightwing, Aquaman, Swamp Thing, Shazam, Booster Gold and Green Arrow, Moviepilot reported.

io9 said that there have been at least ten times that a DC/Marvel crossover unofficially happened, at least in the comic books. But in a cinematic version of a crossover? Screenrant said that it may never happen.

DC co-publisher and creator Jim Lee said that unless the process of making it happen would be a whole lot easier, the world may never see a film crossover. He told the site, "I think it's a lot of work, it requires a lot of people working in good faith. I think the big questions is: both companies make a lot of money off their own titles, so what's in it for them to share that revenue? That's a big part of it. Obviously it would be huge news, and you would think that the increased sales would make up for that, but then, who's throwing in what talent to the pool, all that kind of stuff."
