'Batman: Arkham Knight' Limited Edition Statue Reveals MAJOR Spoilers About the Game's Ending

By

If you'd prefer to go into "Batman: Arkham Knight" without knowing the ending, it's best to turn away now.

But if spoilers for future major video game releases are your thing, feel free to read on. Because some new promotional materials from "Batman: Arkham Knight" may have accidentally revealed a major spoiler from the game's ending.

And we mean major, so this is your last chance.

Ready?

Ready.

Video Gamer found the first shots of the "Batman: Arkham Knight" Exclusive Limited Edition on Amazon, including the game's cover art, tie-in comic, book, promotional art book and statue of the Dark Knight.

But they looked a little further, and found that there was an incredibly revealing sentence engraved on base of the statue.

The engraving reads: "From a Grateful City In Memory of the Gotham Knight." Which makes it sound very much like the Batman dies at the end of "Arkham Knight."

But that's not all - in the description of the Limited Edition, the statue is referred to as "an imposing Batman memorial statue commemorating Gotham's protector, the Dark Knight."

"Memorial" being the operative word there.

However, Amazon has since retouched the photo on their website. Now, instead of the full inscription on the statue, the photo only shows the words "The Gotham Knight."

Which probably means the spoilers are legit. Amazon wouldn't doctor a photo to cover up a rumor that isn't even real.

So does Batman die at the end of "Arkham Knight?" It wouldn't be the first time the series has chosen to kill a seemingly unkillable Batman character - "Arkham City" ended with the death of the Joker.

Comic Book Movie seems to agree that the statue points to a Bat-death at the end of the game. What do you think?
