What's the Latest on Amanda Knox, Raffaelle Sollecito Trial? Meredith Kercher's Family Seeks Justice after Unforgivable Murder

By

With the latest verdict scheduled to come out this March, followers of the infamous Meredith Kercher murder case are all ears to find out the final decision on the trial. Both the alleged suspects and Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito are on the hot spot once again, facing their 7-year ordeal with the Italian justice system, after having been convicted, freed and now underoing murder trial once again.

The angelic-faced suspect of the murder of roommate Meredith Kercher, along with ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito are again waiting for another verdict which is set to be released March this year. The Seattle-born Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito were convicted of the murder in Italy last 2007.

Last December The Examiner reported that there are signs Amanda was obsessed with Meredith. Moreover, a misunderstanding during Halloween, led to Meredith's death. But the verdict favored her allowing her to return home, after serving jail time in Italy. But not before a conviction was made, both Knox and Raffaele served jailtime, before their appeal led to a surprising acquittal.

It was overturned by a court decision freeing both in 2011, allowing Amanda to return to the US. Mirror UK reported that after returning in the US territory Amanda landed a job in a local newspaper in her hometown called West Seattle Herald.

She later became the darling of the press gracing interviews, TV guesting and even launching her new book. Although she was able to return to her normal life after the Italian conviction for a murder case.

But it looks like fate is not on her side when her faith is being tested again with the appeal brought by the victim's family to open the case last year.

This will be the third time Amanda will wait for the verdict regarding her trial for the murder of former roommate Meredith Kercher.

A petition to clear Knox' name was released and asking for a fair trial for both her former boyfriend and co-accused Raffaele Sollecito.

With two months before the final verdict, no one can tell whether Knox will get the exoneration or a final and executory conviction. But Knox is determined to exhaust all efforts to appeal any verdict which may not be favorable to her.
