The rumors are true. Disney's fifth installment of the pirate adventure movie series "Pirates of the Caribbean 5 : Dean Men Tell No Tales" is set to start shooting in Australia next month. As the "Pirates" fans await for the complete details, the word is out that several main characters are returning to resume their roles and new faces are set to join the crew.

"Pirates Of The Caribbean" Sequel Will Feature Familiar Faces

So will Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) return to the screen? Well, the answer is yes! And so will his mates Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom). Earlier this year, despite having the latter refuse to join the fourth installment, "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", Orlando expressed his interest to join the film saying "That whole experience working with Johnny, Gore was really amazing for me." International Business Times reported, citing sources.

"Skyfall" star Javier Bardem and "The Giver" star Brenton Thwaites have been confirmed to be onboard with this "Pirates" sequel. Meanwhile, "Skin" star Kaya Scodelario is having early talks with the producers on the film's female lead role. If her name doesn't ring a bell, we'll help you with that. Scodelario's credits include "The Maze Runner" and its sequel "The Maze Runner : Scorch Trials" and "Moon" and "Clash of the Titans". Slash Film reports.

Even though there hasn't been an official release of the plot yet, Thwaites, the 25-year-old star were able to spill some details. "It's about a young man who wants to reconnect with his father. There's a curse that prevents him from doing that. I think it's about how he goes around that and tries to fix it and he has to save his dad. I'm looking forward to it. It'll be a lot of fun!" he told Mirror.

Fans continue to speculate starting from where the last movie took place. Brenton might play the role of Henry, Turner and Elizabeth Swann's (Keira Knightley) son. In the previous film, Turner was stabbed by Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) and was cursed to be able to set foot on land only in every ten years. So this is a credible hunch that connects the story to what Thwaites said.

The film is set to sail to the theaters in the US on the 7th of July, 2017.
