Richard Castle and Kate Beckett's nemeses, Dr. Kelly Nieman and Jerry Tyson will be back to cause trouble in "Castle" season 7 episode 14, "Resurrection."
"Castle's" annual two-part episode is due next month, and it is filled with questions. "Resurrection" will welcome back old faces as Annie Wersching reprises her role as Nieman and Michael Mosley is back as Tyson, Buddy TV reports. On February 9, the first part of the two-part episode will air and it will show Castle back to consult with the NYPD after a case that implicates Nieman. However, things do not end there as upon further investigation, the case seems to involve Tyson.
Though it has already been revealed previously that both Tyson and Nieman will be returning, stills from the upcoming episode show Castle and Beckett interrogating the two separately, which has Unreality TV speculating that there might be a bigger game. "These two are cunning and many of the fans have been speculating just how the pair will return but seeing them in custody with Castle and Beckett seems way, way too easy," the article says.
Tyson, or the notorious serial killer 3XK, is supposed to have died, and it remains to be explained how he survived.
With Nieman in custody, TV Line speculates that bringing in 3XK to the scene might be a strategy "to upend Castle's world." Nieman is remembered to have created copies of two NYPD members, Lanie and Esposito with the help of plastic surgery.
Tamala Jones, Lanie, also hinted at the episode being an emotional one. "You're going to cry, you're going to think someone died," she says to TV Line.
David Amann himself penned the episode.
The second part of the episode is titled "Reckoning" and will be aired on February 16, mentions IB Times.
Before "Resurrection," the show will return from its break on February 2 with the episode "Private Eye Caramba!" In the episode, Castle will allegedly be a witness to the murder of a client through the hands of her husband. Castle is brought back into the NYPD after discovering that his client was a person of interest in Beckett's case.
More surprise will be expected on episode 16 as show writer Terri Edda Miller hints at having "the greatest guest."
