The recent Screen Actors Guild Awards held last Monday, January 25 created clamor as the audience witnessed the "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston and "Beverly Hills 90210" star Gabrielle Carteris seated alongside each other in the renowned awards ceremony that is now on its 21st year. It's definitely a blast from the past as the famous Andrea Zuckerman steps into the spotlight again, being the executive vice president of the SAG-AFTRA.
"90210" Reunion Rumors Circulates
Just like how the "Friends" fans are dying for a reunion, the 90's series' "Beverly Hills 90210" fans can't help but hope that even after 15 years from its final episode, the stars might do a special sequel that will feature the casts' reunion.
When asked if she still keeps in touch with her co-stars, the actress said, "I keep in touch with Jason Priestley, Luke Perry, and Ian Ziering...Jennie Garth's kids went to school with mine, so I would see Jennie," she said. "But Jason and I were close through all those years. And Luke and Ian." the Hollywood Life writes.
According to Mail Online, the "Beverly Hills 90210" series aired from 1990 to 2000 and revolved around the life of the average teenager in his or her high school years. Set in the tropical Los Angeles, California, Cateris played the lead character together with Jason Priestley as Brandon Walsh, Luke Perry as Dylan McKay, Shannen Doherty as Brenda Walsh, Tori Spelling as Donna Martin, Brian Austin Green as David Silver, Jenny Garth as Kelly Taylor and Ian Ziering as Steve Sanders.
"Everybody is in really different places now so I don't know if they would do it, but I know Luke wanted to create something, so that could be interesting. "If we get everybody to tweet about it and use social media, maybe it will happen." Carteris added an interview of US Weekly.
