Hasbro's science fiction film featuring the battle of the Autobots versus the Decepticons is now confirmed to shoot its fifth installment this year. Fans are so hyped to know the official stars but the producers are keeping the production details in a low profile. Rumors have been going around that Michael Bay won't be directing the "Transformers 5" and that new characters will be joining the cast.
A Bigger Battle for the Autobots and the Decepticons
According to Comic Central City's Facebook page, the Autobots will have a bigger army because they will be joined in battle by the "Mechanoids". Override, Red Alert and acclaimed leader Ultra Magnus are only some of the few who will join the fight against the evil Decepticons.
But the darker side lured in some reinforcements as well. The "Quintessons" which Optimus Prime referred to as their ancient creators are returning to play by the side of the anti-heroes. New villains approach the good side's terrain such as Scourge, Blitzwig and Cyclonous, the Master Herald reports.
Michael Bay, the director of the first three installments of "Transformers" is stepping down from his seat to give way to Jonathan Liebesman, the director of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But Bay will now be totally exiting the production. He'll be the producer or execute producer. With this fact, fans are divided regarding on what might be the fate of the fifth "Transformers", considering that both the "TMNT" and "Transformers : Age of Extinction" did not have much positive reviews from the audience.
Also, "G.I. Joe : Retribution"'s Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Bruce Willis will also be included in the film. Returning with the cast is Mark Wahlberg, as Cade Yeager, the frustrated inventor and immediate friend of the Autobots, Cross Map writes.
