Set in Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles, Universal Pictures' seventh installment of the Fast and Furious series seems like it's not finished with the race yet. According to Tyrese Gibson's Instagram post, he and some of his co-stars are back on the set to re-shoot some of the scenes from the movie even though the whole film has been finished already. Nearly less than three months from its release date, Gibson and Ludacris is back on set to patch some scenes up.
Remembering Paul Walker
The "Fast 7" will be the last film wherein the late Paul Walker will star in that is why the movie will be a tribute to the original "Fast and Furious" lead. "Paul...We're gonna make you so proud...I repeat...So proud." Gibson adds in his post. In the film, Walker's character, Brian O'Conner is supposed to be killed in a car crash. But reports suggests that he'll have a different send-off. Caleb and Cody Walker, Paul's younger brothers helped the crew fill in the space that the latter left. Also, Cody, an actor and stuntman have been booked to join the crew for the "Fast and Furious 8". He also agreed to be a stand in to Paul's character, Mail Online reports.
The whole "Fast 7" crew is determined to make this film as Paul Walker's legacy. Director James Wan, the new director of the seventh installment stepped up his game by making luxurious cars jump straight out of a plane. "We had skydivers photographing these cars as they were falling down. It's as insane as it sounds." Wan said, according to Classicalite.
Returning with Gibson are Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Elsa Pataky, Ronda Rousy, Kurt Russell, Nathalie Emmanuel, Djimon Hounsou, Lucas Black and Jason Statham.
