"Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" is just a few months away from release and avid final fantasy fans are anxiously waiting for the next-gen port of the PSP Japanese title. "Final Fantasy XV" demo may not be ready during the launch of "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" this March.
The highly anticipated PlayStation 4 and Xbox One port of the PSP game, "Final Fantasy Type-0" is getting several tweaks in its gameplay. Summons have been included in the adjustment as reported by Siliconera. For those who were able to play the Japanese "Final Fantasy Type-0" in PSP, summons have been an integral part of the story yet employing them in the tactical fighting enemy encounter is unsustainable.
First, when summoning Eidolons in the original PSP version of "Final Fantasy Type-0", players will need to sacrifice a squad member for a time-limited help of the Eidolons. Even though you have 14 playable squad members, you can't employ summons consistently all throughout a mission. Another aspect that affects summons in "Final Fantasy Type-0" is the constriction of the space in the battlefield. Large Eidolons like "Titan" and the all-time favorite "Bahamut" won't be effective in tunnels and closed spaces. Lastly, summoned Eidolons are hard to manuever in the battlefield and they feel clunky in the original "Final Fantasy Type-0"
Even though it may not be a major tweak, the report says that there will be some adjustments on controlling summoned Eidolons in "Final Fantasy Type-0" for its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release.
In related news, "Final Fantasy XV" demo, Episode Duscae, may not be able to make it on the "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" release date for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fans have been waiting anxiously for the release of Type-0 HD, according to reports, in order to play the demo. There are also some Die hard Final Fantasy fans who even pre-ordered "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" just to have early access to "Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae".
According to TechnoBuffalo, Hajime Tabata, the Game Director for "Final Fantasy XV", has stated that the "Episode Duscae" demo may not be ready in time when "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" is released. In any case, fans who pre-ordered the game are not getting losses since Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will be a great addition to their PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game collection.
Final Fantasy Type-0 will be released in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 17. The demo for "Final Fantasy XV" Episode Duscae may not be released on the same date but fans should keep their hopes up. Stay tuned for more updates on these games!
