The legendary group "U2" has added Los Angeles as their fifth concert in their iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015 this Monday. However, there has been no confirmed itineraries about the group's tour in San Diego.
According to UT San Diego, there are no confirmations yet from the band about their tour in San Diego. Last year, U2 was remembered to have their two shows held last 2005 Vertigo world tour in San Diego Sports Arena , former name of recently known Valley View Casino Center. The other one was last 2009 with their 360 tour, which was bypassed in favor for the playing the massive Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
Recently, it was also announced that the group's 2015 arena tour on June 3 show at the Forum will also be held in Los Angeles. As theorized, the group may add San Diego to their subsequent shows on June 3 in Los Angeles and on June 12 in Montreal. In these areas, U2 will have their multiple shows as reported.
The same site source also cited that there might have some factors why the group hasn't chosen San Diego as one of their listed tours. It may include geographical, capacity of the arena which will link to the population factors.
The Forum, where the group will have their concert, can hold as much as 18,000 people. This is larger compared to any other arenas in San Diego. Moreover, the Staples Center in Los Angeles is even larger, too. Which is why, if the group will have their series of concerts there, since the venue is able to hold more people, it will lessen the addition to some extra shows there.
Meanwhile, U2's ticket sales from their late May hows have been already sold out. So, there are also high assumptions for sold out tickets for their June 3 concerts.
"The sales for iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour have been brilliant and we are looking to satisfy the incredible demand," Arthur Fogel, Global Touring, and Chairman, Global Music.
Bono described his experience as noted in The Music Universe, "We are going to try to have a completely different feeling from night one to night two and have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience. More to be revealed!" In addition, K-Earth 101, also said that Bono, though injured, hasn't let that take him down to his concerts.
The band will have their multiple shows across North America and Europe.
The same site also said that the band has also released their "Every Breaking Wave" as the second single from the "Songs of Innocence."
