From last Tuesday's episode titled "Bye, Bye, Pittsburg", Jojo and her mom were fighting hard to earn the spot in ALDC since the group was preparing for Hollywood. Next episodes will be about ALDC's preparation for their spot in teenage division. The group are determined that they won't leave Pittsburg without winning.
Inquisitr cited that for the next episodes, the network revealed that the group are busy preparing for the dance performance in the most presitigious Hollywood. JoJo's mom also pointed out if she will be joined in the group if one of the elder members will be pulled out, immediately, the group will be included in the younger category. Probably, they could ensure the group's win.
Christian Today reported that there was also an issue of jealousy among the members. As previewed, the moms of Abby Lee Dancing Company were outraged of the on-going favoritism. They believed that Abby has favorited Maddie Ziegler, a 12-year old alleged preference.
Jessalynn Siwa, JoJo's mom, pointed out to other moms that Maddie is certainly a 12-year-old girl who wanted to get a spotlight in Los Angeles. Holly Frazier, Nia's mom, suggested, "It would be great if one of the girls gets a big break, kind of like what Maddie had for Sia, because that's opened up tremendous doors for her."
While Maddie and Mackenzie's mom was concentrating about her children's opportunities that come, just ignored the remarks from other moms. As cited in Breathe Cast, Maddie had a lot of successes last especially her remarkable performance with the famous Sia in her music videos "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart."
The same source also highlighted the jealousy that the other moms expressed in the group especially to Maddie's big success.
Meanwhile, there was also an issue about Abby pulling out Nia and be replaced by JoJo. If ever she'll be included in the group, that won't be agreeable with the other dance group members as well. However, based from some spoilers, Miller will be leaving the group, so they will be competing in the teen division.
"JoJo, would you really want Nia not to dance at all today?" Nia's mom told the young girl. Then, JoJo's mom responded to her, "What's more important, Nia's feelings or the team winning?"
In spite the moms' sentiments, Jill, Kendal Vertes' mom, reminded other moms about the competition that these young kids are joining. She said, "We are competing in a teen group, we cannot leave Pittsburg without a win. A child never has to dance older than they are."
Despite the internal conflicts, the group has only landed in the second place with their performance "Frozen Together" in the teen division and second place in the overall contest.
According to the same source, Abby is open to let Nia join the World-Class Talent Experience competition in Woodbridge, Virginia.
The "Dance Moms" will air season 5 episode 4 on Tuesday, January 27.
