‘Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate” Latest Update: Release Date for Nintendo 3DS Set; New Trailer Introduces New Monsters, Weapons and All-New Combat System

"Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" is the latest game in the franchise to be released on Nintendo 3DS and it is the most extensive content rich "Monster Hunter" game up to date. The English port of the hit "Monster Hunter 4G", will be coming to North America and Europe on February 18.

Initially released on PlayStation 2, the Monster Hunter Franchise became a successful hit when it was ported to PlayStation Portable. It was a big game in Japan which attracted a lot of western gamers due to the unique gameplay challenge that it offers. It has a steep learning curve which pushes the gaming skills of any players.

Newcomers to the game were often put off by the complexity of hunting monsters in game and due to the consistent evolution of its gameplay, seasoned players may still find themselves at lost in their game. This issue was addressed in the upcoming title and "Monster Hunter 4 Unlimited" offers streamlined tutorials for new players and veterans alike according to a source.

The localization director for "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate", Andrew Alfonso have mentioned that their team made "...a lot of stuff to accommodate new players without forcing advanced players to "opt-in", so to speak." He even added an "option of skipping tutorials so beginners can learn the game at their leisure while advanced players can quickly advance through the game".

"Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" pushes the limits of the skills of its players by providing a lot of contents and thousands of hours of gameplay. A recent trailer surfaced which foreshadows the actual gameplay footage of the game.

A lot of monsters from the previous Monster Hunter titles will be coming back including the terrible Tigrex, Rathalos, Jinouga, and Elder Dragons. A new flagship monster named Sergios will be making his first appearance in the franchise along with a new Elder Dragon. There will also be an expanded weapon list for the latest game including the new Charge Blade. There is also a report that new bonus outfits from several Nintendo Game franchises will be included in the game. This will include outfits from Metroid and Animal Crossing.

"Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" will be released on February 18 for Nintendo 3DS. Fans will have thousands of hours of gameplay with the expanded contents of the upcoming title.
