Through three seasons of "Arrow," one thing has remained constant above all: despite all the extremely obvious evidence, Thea Queen has absolutely no idea that her brother Oliver is really the Arrow. No idea. But is that going to change?
Some seem to think so. First, let's take a look at the synopsis for the upcoming February 18th episode of "Arrow," entitled "The Return."
"Malcolm (John Barrowman) puts Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Thea (Willa Holland) in a dangerous situation that lands them on Lian Yu with Oliver's former enemy, Deathstroke (guest star Manu Bennett). A flashback reveals when Oliver and Maseo (guest star Karl Yune) returned to Starling City to retrieve the Omega bio weapon, and despite being under strict orders from Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) not to reveal himself to anyone, Oliver looks in on his family, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Tommy (guest star Colin Donnell)."
Mstars makes an extremely important point. How exactly are Thea, Oliver, Malcolm and Deathstroke going to be stuck in the same place at the same time, without Thea figuring out the truth? Either "Arrow" has some unbelievable twist of fate that'll keep Oliver's secret under wraps, but it seems much more likely that she might actually figure it out (especially because there's two more episodes between the most recent, "Midnight City").
And if Deathstroke's involved, he'd likely tell her himself. Deathstroke is no fan of Oliver Queen, and if he could mess with his life in any way, it seems pretty obvious that he would.
What's more, it's been reported that Merlyn may be joining Team Arrow in an upcoming episode. Does this mean Thea is joining too? That could be the catalyst that finally lets Thea in on Oliver's secret. Or, she could join Team Arrow for two episodes, and he could wear the hood and do the voice the whole time. Both are entirely possible.
