The latest installment of the 'Mission Impossible 5' was rumored to be released in December 2015. However, the long-running action spy film will be getting an early comeback as Paramount and Skydance Productions moved its official release on July 31, 2015.
Tom Cruise will be returning as the dashing IMF agent Ethan Hunt. Cruise was recently seen taking scuba diving lessons in the Cayman Islands in August 2014. According to a report by Celebeat, the actor was also seen shooting alongside a military aircraft Cambridgeshire, England. Cruise was also spotted sporting a dapper suit while a helicpoter hovered above him in order to give the aerial scene a dramatic windy effect. The 'MI5' star was also reportedly seen in various locations across Europe including Vienna and Austria. Fans will be expecting some amazing underwater scenes, as well as exhilarating aerial stunts.
Jeremy Renner will be reprising his role in the film. The busy actor is currently filming 'The Avengers 2', but has recently spoken up about his involvement in the upcoming 'Mission Impossible' film.
"It's kind of unlikely. In fact, I'm kind of strapped time-wise doing Avengers 2, and Mission: Impossible 5 is rearing its head, and then they want to do another Bourne movie. It's unlikely I can find the time right now. And that's all right. It's just really high-class problems - pretty awesome to have. Even if I really wanted to do it, which I don't, I couldn't." the actor said in an interview with Yahoo, when asked if he was going to do 'True Detective.'
Joining the roster is Alec Baldwin, who is in talks to play the head of the CIA. Deadline also reports a strong female lead in the form of 'The White Queen' star Rebecca Ferguson. While it is unclear what the details of these new characters will be, it can be expected that Baldwin and Ferguson will deliver stellar performances.
'Prometheus' star Sean Harris will be playing the villain in the upcoming film. To date, the 'Mission Impossible' franchise is well on in its 19th year. This will be a fitting tribute by Paramount pictures to release the Mission Impossible 5 exactly 20 years from when it was first released to the public.
While there is no released title of the new 'Mission Impossible' film, one can be sure that the upcoming film is already off to an explosive start.
