"World of Warcraft" Unveils New Hotfixes for 6.0.3 Patch; Blizzard Reveals All-New Details About Upcoming February, March Content

By

"World of Warcraft" has just unveiled a massive array of updates and patches for February. Blizzard just put out Patch 6.0.3, but there are still a number of bugs and smaller issues contained within the patch- hopefully, Blizzard's taken care of all of them with a bundle of new February hotfixes.

Among the hotfixes are solutions for the following problems:

  • Issues with the world boss Rukhmar, who was not targeting players correctly and getting stuck mid-combat
  • Removing aspects of the Lovely Card buff while in certain raids or dungeons
  • The achievements Beacon of Love and They Really Love Me! now work without any kind of bugs or failures
  • Issues where players were not getting credit for completing the Asmaul Burial Grounds
  • Issues with Roll and Flying Serpent Kick for Monks

As well, Blizzard has rolled out a number of new events and new content that they'll be releasing over the course of the month. Via Wowhead, we know that the "Love is in the Air" event will run from February 2 through February 16, and that the "Darkmoon Faire" event will run from Februray 8 through Februray 14. As well, the "Lunar Festival" event will run from February 16 through March 2. All events will have reams of new toys, pets, mounts and achievements for players to unlock.

Blizzard describes the current "Love is in the Air" event as follows:

"Love and adoration are in the air in the major cities of Azeroth . . . and in celebration of the occasion, you're invited to share candy, perfume, and gifts with guards, townsfolk, and other players for special rewards. However, a strange "love sickness" seems to cloud the hearts of many of Azeroth's people. Is this simply an outbreak of amore? Or will you and your fellow adventurers uncover a dark secret behind this plague of passion?"

That should be plenty for "World of Warcraft" players to handle as February progresses.
