"Final Fantasy XV" Jaw-dropping Trailer Features "Nostalgic" Nobuo Uematsu Music, "Episode Duscae" Demo Confirmed for March 17 Release with Type-0 HD

Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XV" demo features music from Nobuo Uematsu, and it has been met with positive reviews.

The highly anticipated addition to the "Final Fantasy" franchise, "Final Fantasy XV," is gearing for a confirmed release of its demo episode, "Episode Duscae," alongside "Type-0 HD." This is after speculations said that the release of the demo might be released, which Square Enix has apparently already falsified.

To prove that things are on schedule, the game company released a new teaser for "Type-0 HD," which included a teaser demo for "Final Fantasy XV." The "Episode Duscae" preview starts at 2:29 in the 4-minute video for "Type-0 HD."

The demo shows more than what has previously been seen, with "caves, ruins, open fields, and a small roadside pit stop." Furthermore, the video gives players an idea of how the characters in the game have been revised, including a recurring character named Cidney.

A behemoth monster can also be seen in the teaser.

Moreover, the music of composer Nobuo Uematsu is featured in the trailer. Uematsu's music is in most of the "core" games in the franchise. As Tech Times says, "There's an air of familiarity with the score here, and despite the wildly varying gameplay on display, it all feels right at home with that music playing in the background."

Uematsu's involvement with the project has been met with good reception. "You guys know that all it really takes to reel back your fanbase is a few bars of Uematsu," Kotaku adds.

"Final Fantasy XV," which has been under development for almost ten years, is expected to be available for both PS4 and Xbox.

"Episode Duscae" will be released alongside "Type-0 HD" on March 17, shares Den of Geek. The demo includes two hours of gameplay in the Duscae region, where the previews are set.

However, not everyone who gets Type-0 HD will get to play the demo. According to Game Pur the demo "will be available only to those who will pre-order FF Type-0 HD." The article also mentions only the first batch of shipment to have the code to play the "Episode Duscae" demo.
