New 11 minute gameplay footage of "The Order: 1886" was leaked a few days ago by AllGamesBeta showcasing its graphics and gameplay, although the language is set to Italian including the voices and text in-game.
Although the majority of the video are just cutscenes, we do get a glimpse of the games interaction and a little bit of gameplay. It can be argued that the video showcases the tutorial level and it does seem to be so, at the end of the video is the player character trying out the rifle for the first time.
The video also confirms that "The Order: 1886" is running at 720p resolution with 30 fps. The graphics are very impressive on the PS4 and as for the framerate it looks smooth, although there isn't much going on as compared to other recent videos and not to mention that the developers are aiming for 30 fps for that filmic feel for the game according to this interview by Kotaku.
Many people are already worried if the game will succeed especially after articles like Forbes' opinion piece stating that "The Order: 1886" will be one of the most dissapointing video games of 2015". This is also coupled with the fact that the game has awkward transitions from QTEs to cutscenes and less action gameplay as described in this video from Gamespot.
Sony also announced on their blog that anyone who will be visiting and completing their new online investigative experience for "The Order: 1886", will earn themselves an exclusive The Order: 1886 theme for their PS4.
The neat thing about this announcement is that it can be done and completed in the PS4 browser and all you have to do is do a mini-game and explore and discover what happened in the game's setting.
"The Order: 1886" is a third-person shooter developed by Read at Dawn studios and published by Sony and will be released worldwide on the PS4 exclusively on February 20, 2015.
So what do you think? Will "The Order: 1886" live up to its hype and be a successful and enjoyable game for the PS4?
