"God of War 4" might be arriving soon enough as Santa Monica Studios prepare for the 10th Anniversary of the game franchise this March. "God of War" had already secured its place in the annals of gaming history and Kratos would always be the man who won everything and remained at a lost.
He just emulated what most people dreamed of having but did not have the raw courage or deep desire to grab it by the jugular. Kratos, the former servant of the Olympian God of War, leaped frog from being a chained vassal to a colossal behemoth who stood (literally) on the shoulder of giants and became an overwhelming presence much greater than the Olympians and Titans combined.
With this, Santa Monica Studios head Shannon Studstill, who had been an essential part of the "God of War" franchise, expressed her excitement over the "special anniversary celebration" for the fans of "God of War." She mentioned that 2015 would be "full of great surprises" and added that 2015 "for Santa Monica Studio was going to be significant."
The gaming community as well as "God of War" fans would be expecting some great news from the producers of the game, perhaps updates on "God of War 4." After all, it was in 2013 that "God of War: Ascension" made its mark on PS3, which was no longer followed by any concrete project but by some raucous and mumbles brought by fanfare.
In fact as the weeks finally slip to the spring beat of March, fans have been tweeting on Santa Monica Studios' official page their "tribute" to greatest Spartan that ever lived. The tweets ranged from Valentine's Day fan art to videos uploaded on Youtube. Whatever they maybe, it was clear that the fans do not want "God of War" to put down the blade. The fight must go on!
And it would probably go on, but not as what the fans would expect it to happen. As Studstill recounted that 2014 was a tough year and an undisclosed project had to be put under wraps causing lay-offs and an overhaul to their schedule. The possible scenario could be a remake of the title in HD, which would arguably be an undeniable hit for fans who have been missing the "Ghost of Sparta."
