'Titanfall 2' PS4, Xbox One, PC Release Date, Rumors: Microsoft declines game's exclusivity? Respawn to launch sequel with massive game platform

Game sequel "Titanfall 2" will likely release by next year in multiple platforms announced by game developer. Sequel will no longer be Microsoft exclusive. EA assured fans that the sequel will be coming soon.

After dramatic renegotiations, Respawn Entertainment and Microsoft finally made it clear that their agreements to include "Titanfall 2" as their exclusive game will not happen as EA takes over to develop the sequel according to Forbes. The same site also mentioned that though Microsoft declined the sequel, thus, EA will be taking place.

EA CFO Blake Jorgensen spoke during the 2015 Technology, Internet & Media Conference last Monday about the Titanfall's future in terms of its platforms. "Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven't yet announced, but we'll probably have another Titanfall game. It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that's a huge positive for us," he said.

Previously reported that "Titanfall" was launched in Xbox consoles as well as PC last year March 2014. However, there are recently reports cited that the previous game was not as successful as it was expected since it has only sold around 4 million copies worldwide in all of its supported platforms [across Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC]. Therefore, Microsoft had paid enormous amount of money to pay off the cost. With that said, the said company will not likely pay the same amount of money to support the "Titanfall 2." This made EA free to release PS4 in the future.

Jorgensen shared that there are "30 million" new generation consoles sold that includes 18.5 million PS4s with an estimated number of 11.5 million Xbox Ones.

"Titanfall" described by Franchise Herald, is a multiplayer FPS game that focuses on mechanic soldiers knowns as Titans which are classified into three classes Atlas, Orge, and Stryder.

Reportedly, new gameplay modes and other game upgrades are yet to be announced by the developer alongside its final official launching. There are existing speculations that the most probable launching of the game will be early next year.

If "Titanfall 2" will be released, it would have the most impact [real player] in terms of its shooter space since it combines features from a multiplatform launch plus a solidly scripted/campaign mode [with all the multiplayer additions].
