Sony-licensed Venom Arcade stick to release by February 26 in Australia though it was already released in Germany ten days ago.Interesting facts about this "steel shaft micro switched joystick" is that it will be compatible to different arcade games in PS3 and PS4 platforms which includes Street Fighter X of Bandai Namco. However, there is no exact date of release yet for this game.
The Venom Arcade stick was just recently licensed and distributed to selected countries like Germany and later, Australia. Gamers will have no compatibility issues if they will be using this device to play the selected arcade games.
The eight-button stick features a streel shaft micro swtiched joystick which promises better for its arcade quality responsiveness alongside ergonomic layout with turbo functions and durability.
Mentioned in one site, Street Fighter X Tekken as well as the other Street Fighter versions can be played through this joystick.
The stick is available and purchased in Amazon to selected countries as of the moment. In Germany, this gaming device will cost around 80 Euro, and in Australia for almost $200 AUD. However, this is not yet available in the United States but its description are already listed in the Amazon site.
As described, this is officially licensed by SCEA which is compatible for PS3 and PS4 platforms that also features HORI original HAYABUSA joystick and KURO pushbuttons. This device also includes Fighting Mode, Turbo functions, as well as input and button toggles, and Share button with cable storage compartment and convenient carry handles.
Meanwhile, Katsushiro Harada, Namco's Tekken Director said that the development of the 'Street Fighter X' is actively on-going with 40 people working behind it. Sources also mentioned that there is a cross-over for Street Fighter and Tekken, delivering Street Fighter X Tekken which was already announced years ago.
The game developer are still busy with Tekken 7 while the Street Fighter X is still being made but it is taking so much time before its official release.
"It's very difficult to talk about it ... Obviously, I had originally planned to release it much earlier than we're currently looking at," Harada said. With that being said, Harada wishes to have the release in a "surprisingly manner" rather than just having it released normally.
So far, apart from the recent announcements that this game is included in the Venom Arcade stick compatibility, no word from the game developer yet for its official release.
