After "Far Cry 4" released its latest "Overrun" DLC, PlayStation Stores in North America would hold a sale dubbed as "Critics Choice Sale." The sale would include several "blockbuster" and "critical hits."
The sale would include "Far Cry 4" as one of the commercial hits that would make-up part of the catalog. The game would be sold for US$41.99, 30% was slashed from the its original price. The players could then buy the DLC ranging from US$4 to US$9 at the sale. The latest DLC "Overrun" could be bought at US$4.99.
Interestingly, the store's page would provide information on the game as well as the DLC. For instance, the page for "Far Cry 4's" "Overrun" gave information on what to expect on the add-on. That would include the names of the four maps in the DLC: "Waterfront," "Training," "Steelhead" and "Reeducation." The maps were designed "to support the frantic gameplay." However, buyers should hurry up as the offer would last only until Feb. 25th.
If that would not be enough, Amazon would also be holding a sale and among those up for grabs would be "Far Cry 4." The Amazon sale would offer more savings compared to the "Critics Choice Sal." with "Far Cry 4" priced at US$21.62 in Amazon.
What's nifty about Amazon's catalog for "Far Cry 4" would be the PS4 and PS3 exclusive at the bottom of the page. Players who own a PS Plus membership would be able to invite their PSN friends to play out the game's co-op trial online for free. This "Keys to Kyrat" offer would require the player to get the code from the game's "Main Menu," sign in, select "Exclusive Content" and finally, select "Send 'Keys to Kyrat.'"
The "Far Cry 4" player should then select a friend from the list who hasn't played the game yet or who wasn't yet invited for the free online co-op trial. With that, they would be able to explore Kyrat together for free, for two hours.
