'Tekken 7' was revealed to have new set of characters as seen from their official gameplay videos. Director mentioned about an Arabian character named 'Shaheen.' Console platforms are yet to be released.
As mentioned by one source, the gameplay videos of 'Tekken 7' showed the game's new characters which included the Saudi Arabian named 'Shaheen.' Tekken 7 Director Katsuhiro Harada tweeted with an image displaying a new Saudi Arabian character which was reportedly to have emerged based from their polling Middle East audience. They wished to have a character from that region per se.
According to one site, Shaheen was seen in the game's walkthrough which was really brief. He was described as a fighter that functions more of agility than brute force. Details about his strengths were also cited. They said that this Arabian character is believed to throw some powerful combos and throws and his quick movements, too, as added by Harada.
Another new character players would notice is the schoolgirl, Lucky Chloe, which apears like Ling Xiaoyu. Her main mode is of schoolgirl attack. Though her annoying intense backlash were visible, she is still proved to be a worthy advsersary against opponents. Apart from the two, Shaheen and Lucky Chloe, towards the end of the game, players will see the 'boss fighter.'
To fight in the arcade mode's final match, they should fight Kazumi Mashima, the highly elusive character. Kazumi, the mother of Kazuya Mashima and the wife of Heihachi, after disappearing for several years, will be making much influence in the circle of 'Tekken 7.' She was also believed to be the root of Kazuya and Jin's Devil gene.
Thus, these three new characters will be appearing in the gameplay. However, with Kazumi, players should get to know her fighting techniques though 'Tekken' veterans have known them. For the beginners, they should know that her first form doesn't appear to be brutal as previous bosses, however, after the first round, notion changes. She will be transforming into her devil variation unleashing a string of devastating moves while using her flying ability.
Meanwhile, Bandai Namco will be releasing a list of the features of the game as well as the characters, unfortunately, they are in Japanese. It was said that 'Tekken 7' will still be adopting the same control scheme for over 20 years now in franchise. So, veteran players will not find much hassle in the game controls. They are still the right and left punch and right and left kick buttons.
'Tekken 7' will be released in PS4 and Xbox One by March 10. Sony considered the PS4 release a boon for their new console.
